Hi, we’re Emily and Bryson. We started this site so our families could see where we were and what we had been doing.
When we began, Emily was waiting for a US visa and Bryson had almost used up the time he could spend in the UK. We did not want to wait on opposite sides of the Atlantic, so we packed our bags and kept moving together.
What this site is
We write down what happened before we forget it. That includes good meals, uncomfortable buses, wrong turns, family visits, ordinary days, and occasional arguments about whether noodles count as breakfast.
The photographs are ours and we pay our own way. We leave in the awkward bits because those are usually the parts we remember.
Who makes Bremily Abroad
We both write and edit the stories using our notes, photos, receipts, and travel records. If we get something wrong, read our editorial and disclosure policy or tell us.
We are still travelling, and still usually behind on the writing (sorry to our moms).
The bit before all this
We travelled together for two years before Bremily Abroad existed. Those trips now live in a separate collection of country albums, small memories, and dated photographs.
